THE SAVANNA STEVENS OPEN NATIONAL HUNT FLAT RACE (CLASS 4) (Category 2 Elimination) (GBB RACE) Permission was given for Savanna Storm (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference racing into the back straight, involving Someboy For Oneboy (GB), unplaced, ridden by Rian Corcoran and Park Hall (IRE), placed second, ridden by Harry Skelton.
The Stewards found the interference to be accidental as Park Hall (IRE) shifted slightly right-handed onto the heels of Someboy For Oneboy (GB), causing the mare to stumble.
Passing through the wings at the site of where the second last flight of hurdles would have been, Park Hall (IRE), placed second, attempted a run to the inside of the winner, Bath Taverness (GB), which maintained its racing line on the inside and resulted in Park Hall (IRE), being denied a run and having to be switched right-handed by its rider, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
