THE PAR INN HANDICAP STEEPLE CHASE (CLASS 4) (GBB RACE) An enquiry was held to consider interference between the final two fences involving the winner IT’S A BREEZE (IRE), ridden by Freddie Gingell and The Gypsy Davey (IRE), placed second, ridden by Conor Ring.
Gingell was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without correction and in doing so bumped The Gypsy Davey (IRE) on several occasions.
Following the race, Brendan Powell reported that Ellerton (FR), made a bad mistake at the 6th fence before being pulled up and the Veterinary Officer reported that Limerick Leader (FR), placed third, lost its left-fore shoe.
