The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. W. Fleming, regarding the failure of K.P. Darcy, rider of Boherna Lady, placed, fifth to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered his evidence the Stewards disqualified Boherna Lady and severely cautioned the rider concerning his future responsibilities in this regard.
