An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong, involving the winner White Ladder (IRE), ridden by Sean Dylan Bowen, Keep The Gold (GB), unplaced, ridden by Connor Beasley, and Maynora (GB), placed second, ridden by Clifford Lee.
Bowen was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he had made a misjudgement when committing to an insufficient gap, making contact with Keep The Gold (GB), resulting in that runner being moved across the heels of Maynora (GB), and the rider have to take a check.
The Stewards wished to hold an enquiry into interference in the final half furlong, involving Royal Duke (GB), unplaced, ridden by Aiden Brookes, and So Grateful (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Billy Garritty, but were unable to do so as Brookes had left the course.
They adjourned their enquiry to York on 10 July 2026.
Following the race, Andrew Mullen reported that April Diamond (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling.
James Sullivan reported that Newyorkstateofmind (GB), unplaced, reared as the stalls opened.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Keep The Gold (GB), unplaced, found the gelding to be unlevel behind.
