Permission was given for Alive Again (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
Approximately 2 ½ furlongs out, the winner, Showyoutheropes (IRE), lugged sharply right-handed, making contact with Nanny Park (GB), placed third, which resulted in Showyoutheropes (IRE) becoming unbalanced.
But after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Showyoutheropes (IRE).
An enquiry was held to consider interference throughout the final furlong when Nanny Park (GB), placed third, ridden by Kyle Strydom interfered with the winner, Showyoutheropes (IRE), ridden by Jason Watson.
Strydom was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to shift left- handed without sufficient correction over a sustained period, making contact with and taking Showyoutheropes (IRE) off its intended line.
Following the race, Kyle Strydom reported that Nanny Park (GB), placed third, hung badly left-handed, and Saffie Osborne reported that Alive Again (GB), placed fourth, ran too free.
