The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Nakamura trained by J.P. Murtagh was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii)
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Extravagant, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
An extended handicap for two years old only (90 = 9st 12lbs) Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
