An enquiry was held to consider interference on the final bend, involving HEADINGLY (IRE), placed third, ridden by Tom Marquand and the winner Palavecino (FR), ridden by Martin Dwyer.
The interference was found to be accidental as a section of running rail had become dislodged, resulting in HEADINGLY (IRE) shifting right and Marquand having to take check off the heels of Palavecino (FR), who had been racing tightly to his outside.
Following the race, Jack Mitchell reported that Chance (GB), placed fourth, ran too free.
