After interviewing his representative, Whillans was fined £140.
Tyrese Cameron, the rider of The Craftymaster (GB), placed fifth, beaten by a nose for fourth place, had appeared to stop riding shortly before the winning post.
After being interviewed and shown recordings of the incident, Cameron was suspended for 2 days for failing to take all reasonable and permissible measures to obtain the best possible placing on a horse that could have finished fourth.
