Third time lucky for Carlow
He was quick out of the gates the last day and just didn't see it out. It was trainer error to step him up to a mile from seven (furlongs) then, and back here today over a stiff six, he's done it well. He was drawn 16 on debut and he came on a lot from the run. He's a six/seven furlong horse. We'll see what rating he gets and maybe look for a winners' race.

Twomey & Lee strike in Sligo feature
I knew she had come on from her run the last day, and I felt she wasn't harshly treated on her two-year-old form. I felt that, with a clear run around, she'd go close and I'm delighted to win this race. I won before for Robert With Rosscarbery (in 2022). I had her in the Vintage Tipple (at Gowran on Tuesday) which might have seemed like tilting at windmills before today, but I do think she's capable of getting black type at anywhere between a mile and a-quarter and a mile-six. My horses seem to be coming to hand, which is great.

He just about got there, but we had a plan and Jamie carried it out to perfection. His agent Dave Keena recommended him, so I watched a couple of videosÃâ and liked what I saw. When I was riding, I loved to be handy around here so that's where I wanted Jamie to be.Ãâ . He's a very honest horse and he'll probably mix it. He has run over fences, but he's a bit handy-sized for that, so we'll probably stick to the Flat and hurdles.
