We’re delighted. Things have turned quick,. I thought the horses that were favourite might have more pace than our horse, and that we’d probably end up being second or third. . I was wrong and I’m happy! . He might have made a mistake at the last, but he was foot perfect before that. . I think we have a chaser with a bit of ability. That’s probably where he’s going to go now. . He might have one more run over hurdles. He’s only five and it might be a bit unusual to jump a fence at that age, but I think that’s where he’s going. . He loves soft ground and in a month’s time you probably won’t get it. . There was a bit of a cloud over the yard for along time and along with the horse that won yesterday, they were the two that avoided it most.

No kinks in Dempsey's handicap blot
It’s great. He’s a half-brother to The Long Mile, a good horse who was sadly killed in the Grand National. We bought him at the Derby Sale (for 48,000 euro),. I don’t know how strong a race it was, but you couldn’t be any happier with him. . He’s a winter horse and he’ll be a chaser too. The Long Mile never won a hurdle race but, in saying that, he was placed in a few good hurdle races. . This lad always showed plenty and he’s by the right sire too. He’s definitely one to look forward to, these are the horses you want to be getting. . He’ll probably run once more and then we’ll put him away.
Foley's charge gets his Mojoe back at Naas
That was a lovely one. He’s a nice horse and we’ve always thought a nice bit of him. The ground isn’t exactly what we’re looking for with him, but it’s drying all the time which is a help to him. He’ll probably be better on a bit of nicer ground. All going well now, we’ll probably keep him for the two-and-a-half mile handicap at Punchestown. He had a nice weight in that and, all going well, he should sneak into that race at Punchestown now.

We’re very happy with her, she’s taken a step forward from Thurles so that was brilliant,. We’ll be looking for a bit of black-type next, hopefully. She seems to be improving and if she keeps improving, hopefully we can nick a bit of it. I’d say we might go to Aintree with her. The flat track there would suit her and that’s Plan A at the moment. She seems to be very ground-versatile. She looked like she was going to win a four-year-old point-to-point on yielding and then she won on heavy. She’s a very athletic, good-moving, filly so I don’t see why she won’t handle a bit of better ground. I’m very lucky to have her. I’m really looking forward to next season too. She’s a home-bred so I’m hoping we can hold on to her. I’m delighted with her.
