Enjoy The Dream back to winning ways at Tramore
She's been running well through the winter and into the spring. I'm delighted she's got her head in front today and she's a decent filly. She is probably more of a winter type than this, but we decided to keep her going. She got a cut here the last day and that's why she was off for a bit. She'll keep going and because she didn't win last season, she is a novice again this year, so there should be a good few options for her. You'd like to think she'd compete in mares novice company. Today was the best she jumped. She was a bit keen and had been rushing her fences. Today, she seemed to settle a bit better and jumped better because of that. Hopefully she can keep going that way and there might be a bit of improvement in her. It just happened that she got to the front today and previously I would have had a worry that if she got to the front that she'd keep pulling and pulling. Today she settled reasonably well and it's probably a bit easier to do that on faster ground. I'll have a chat to Dr Heffernan now and see where we go. He likes the Flat and she's highly rated on it, so we could have a go on that before the end of the season.

We think he'll get better in time. I think he is still only a shell of a horse. I'm delighted and very grateful to the lads for sending me a nice quality horse like him. Everything happened kind of wrong for him today, he ran off the bend and missed the last, but he is tough. He is growing mad and he'll improve, but time will tell. John (Bowe) always picks out the races and once he is happy, I'm happy.

I'd be good friends with Aine and I know the owners fairly well, so Jody very kindly let me put Aine on her and I told Jody we'd get her back somewhere else along the line. Aine was brilliant and got a brilliant run up the inside. That was the winning of the race. It's great for him to get his head in front because he is hard to place but always runs his race. He has been a magic horse and tries very hard. If he could go back and do what he did last season it would be great, but it's great to get a win with him anyway. I've no immediate plan, but I'd love to win a beginners chase with him. It would have to be somewhere with small fences though and I might keep that for next year when he's 12!
