Tipp holds on to give Larkin welcome winner
I was hopeful after Thurles, and he’s improved a bit. He was raw and green on his first couple of runs. He’s a lovely horse and is learning all the time. I think he’ll be better for a bit of distance — all the family want further. The family want soft ground, but he showed in Thurles that he appreciated a bit of good ground. I’m delighted to get a winner as I’ve been hitting the crossbar for the last couple of years. I’ve only three in at the moment and they are all my own.
Fad strikes again at Clonmel
His jumping wasn't his best today, probably because it was a stop-start race. He’s normally a very good jumper, and I think a truly-run race would suit him better.
Raydamann easy winner after eventful 4-y-o contest
Fahy all Smiles after mares success
She nearly got brought down the last day in Naas before staying on well. Sometimes with fillies you only get one chance with them, but she held her form which is great. She’s well handicapped on the Flat and I always thought that is where she would thrive.
Leahy scores again on Party
He’s a little bit excitable and has a lot of growing up to do but is an improving horse. Maybe we’ll look at Killarney or let him off for a month as he’s done a lot in a short time. I’d be looking forward to him as a chaser. This lad jumps a fence well.
