The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Jungle Cruise (IRE), which had never previously been placed, was considered.
The representative of Michael Bell explained that the gelding had benefited from the step up in trip to 1 mile and 2 furlongs on this occasion from 1 mile.
His explanation was noted and the gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, Gina Mangan reported that Eljaytee (IRE), placed fifth, ran too freely.
