Permission was given for Questionable (GB) to wear a red hood to post, for Red Scotch (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood and for Croeso Cymraeg (GB) to be led early to post wearing a red hood and be mounted on the chute.
The raceday privilege request for Another Beautiful (GB), trained by Ivan Furtado, to go early to post was not submitted.
Furtado was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
The winner, Croeso Cymraeg (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Catterick on 2 October 2024 where the gelding finished sixth of eight, beaten by 12 1/4 lengths.
James Evans’ explanation that the gelding appreciated the return to Leicester where it had previously been a winner was noted.
