An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly before the line, involving the winner, Lunanova (GB), ridden by Saffie Osborne and Paragon (IRE), placed third, ridden by Jason Watson.
Morgan Cole, the rider of The Kamikaze King (GB), placed second, was interviewed but found not to be involved in the incident.
The Stewards deemed the interference to be accidental, as Osborne’s mount shifted left-handed on the run to the line resulting in Watson having to take a precautionary check when awkwardly placed on the heels of the winner.
