Catherine Chroi (IRE), placed fourth, trained by Iain Jardine, had partially dislodged the right-hand side cowl of its blinkers.
Mohammed Tabti’s explanation that the mare had rubbed its head whilst in the starting stalls during the loading process, causing a tear to the material part of the blinkers as a result, was accepted.
The Stewards were satisfied that the blinkers remained intact throughout the race, and that the blinkers were in a serviceable condition prior to the race, so no further action was taken.
