Outsider wins Fairyhouse’s opener
his first win was a bit unexpected as well and while that didn't look a strong race, he got a mark of 120 after, although the runner-up later won off 112 in a handicap. I was waiting for a beginners chase like this, for horses rated 120 or less, as he was qualifying. He had a couple of dodgy jumps where he took off a little bit early but then he hit the line well. We're delighted now that he's done that and we'll see where we go from here.

Stone-Walsh resumes winning ways
Espritroyale jumped really well, did everything right and picked up well. She had lots of schooling done at home and while I expected her to run well, I didn't think she'd do that to be honest. The second horse (stablemate Sir Benji) ran well too and I suppose, on Flat ratings, he should have been beating her but we are not in Flat racing.
Punchestown festival winner returns to form
we had a disaster of a year with him last year and while he has shown just signs of promise on the first couple of runs this year, in the last three weeks he has turned a corner. Hopefully we have him back now. It's been hard to plan with him the way it's gone, but hopefully can make plans now.
Champion Kennedy collects on spare ride for Harrington
he does nothing in his races and Jack was saying a bigger field would suit him better because he'd have horses to gallop with. He was just looking at everything and is big bone idle. There is a four-year-old's only race in France which we might look at now and he'll probably end up in a Pertemps Qualifier somewhere. He's going to get two-five or three-miles so we'll see what happens.
