We might step her up now to three miles and she'll go on good ground as she has won on it in the past. That's Harry's second winner for me and he rides with his head, very much like his father (Charlie).

Fairyhouse Sun, 5th Apr, 2026  Come Walk With Me It’s a nice day to have a winner. We thought he’d run well but you never know coming here. . He’s a nice horse, jumps well and he’ll have learned a lot from that. He was never in front before. We always knew he had a lot of ability and a lot of jumping ability. Tom Gibney’s horse (Anotherway) was flying and I thought he’d maybe flown, but Donagh thought he had enough to reel him in but you never know until you do it. You don’t want to see any horse falling. We’ll look at something in Punchestown, all being well.

Down Royal Tue, 17th Mar, 2026  Pat's Legacy We were very disappointed in him in Fairyhouse (second) - he's a big, immature horse and it has taken a long time for the penny to drop. It looks like it is dropping there now. He'll probably go straight to the final (in Punchestown) now, and he will be a nice chaser for next year. He's very versatile ground-wise - Keith (Donoghue) rode him on proper heavy a few days and he handled it, and he ran well with Donagh (Meyler) in Leopardstown on better ground.

We bought him at the Derby Sale (for 48,000 euro),. I don’t know how strong a race it was, but you couldn’t be any happier with him. . He’s a winter horse and he’ll be a chaser too. The Long Mile never won a hurdle race but, in saying that, he was placed in a few good hurdle races. . This lad always showed plenty and he’s by the right sire too. He’s definitely one to look forward to, these are the horses you want to be getting. . He’ll probably run once more and then we’ll put him away.

Naas Wed, 4th Mar, 2026  Walk In The Clouds It was great to get that. I think the ride won the race to be honest. She’s been a bit disappointing, but I think the cheekpieces maybe got her going. She was having a good look around and had a look at a wing or two. It’s great to get a win out of her. That’s her grade and it’s job done today, anything else is a bonus now after that. She was probably idling a bit in front and having a good look around. Kevin felt she wasn’t doing a tap in front.

Punchestown Sun, 15th Feb, 2026  Soul Asylum He’s a nice horse, a big galloper. He’s a next year horse really. You might see him in Fairyhouse or somewhere like that for a bumper. He wouldn’t be a horse that would be travelling to Cheltenham; he’s a big baby. If you watch his point-to-point the penny only really dropped, and he got galloping, late on. It wasn’t ideal to make the running today, but we had to go on as there was no gallop.

I'll look to a winners' of one hunters chase next and maybe aim him for the Ladies Cup at Punchestown then and afterwards to Stratford. Next year, as a six-year-old, I'd hope to work towards Cheltenham.

Leopardstown Mon, 29th Dec, 2025  Walks In June He’s a horse we’ve always liking. He was disappointing in Navan, and I’d say the ground didn’t help him. It was a competitive race, he winged hurdles and I’m delighted with him. He’s had three runs (this season) and we might start looking at March. He’s quite a big, light-framed horse so maybe a month easy now and come back for the spring. He’s learning all the time and thanks to Colin Bowe who recommended him.

Leopardstown Mon, 29th Dec, 2025  Frankie John I love the horse, but when he got to the front he was a bit lairy. I knew we’d have to dig deep to be involved never mind win. I think he can win staying hurdles and he’ll be exciting to go chasing next year. I have to thank John Mahon and my parents who were offered plenty of money for him. It wasn’t enough for them, and they wanted to enjoy racing him. It’s important for me to have a horse like him in the yard and thanks to them for letting me ride him. I haven’t been riding all year and I’m still not one hundred per cent fit. I rode a couple during the week just to get my eye rightly in. He’s exciting and it’s good to have him.

Limerick Sun, 28th Dec, 2025  Final Demand He jumped fantastic but was very lairy on his own in front. I looked through my legs after the third last and saw that something had obviously gone amiss with Danny (Mullins aboard stablemate Jimmy Du Seuil). After that it was just a case of getting him home. At the last I said ‘just don’t do anything silly’ and he came back and was very good. He was like riding an armchair. I wanted to be going a stride faster all the way as I thought Jimmy Du Seuil might be a faster horse. Going down the back the last time I asked him to go on and he did. I wish I could have gone around again!. I think in a more competitive race he’ll travel better. He was so lazy today which is great.

Thurles Sat, 20th Dec, 2025  Lennon Grove She is a quick mare, they sprinted today, and she has loads of gears and stayed going really well. It was a nice performance,. Derek had her for point-to-points so thanks to him, as he recommended that we got her for the track and I'm delighted for the owners (Silverpark Racing Partnership). We might go straight over hurdles now, she jumps really well and I'd say she will settle better over hurdles as well.

I thought it was a good performance albeit we had fitness on our side. Jack said she wasn’t for passing and said she was very gutsy. He felt she was in front too soon. I think she’ll be better over a bit further. We knew she was jumping well at home and she had a couple of runs in point-to-points.

Fairyhouse Sun, 30th Nov, 2025  Better Times Ahead Jumping the last I was confident, but the other horse must have been idle because when he got to him, he picked up again. It was close when they got to the line. It was great to get a pot like that with him because he’s been a bit fragile. Ger Kelly has a good bit of work done with him over the years. Touch wood he’s in good order this year and we’ve had no problems with him. He was hampered at the third-last, the horse fell in front of him, and he was shuffled back a small bit. There was a good strong gallop all the way and it helped.
