Limerick Sun, 18th Oct, 2026  A Boy The Kid he had a couple of good runs in bumpers but had niggly issues since, nothing serious, and was left off for the summer. He came back, as normal, three-and-a-half months ago and he has always showed plenty. He had run a blinder in Windsor first-time out, which turned out a very good bumper. He was running around in front today and he'll have learned plenty, so hopefully will improve. Myself and Barry Healy (owner) go back a long time and we won a Kerry National together with Alfa Beat. This horse is named after well-known Limerick slang.

Punchestown Tue, 13th Oct, 2026  Live To Laugh He had run well in Navan the last day and he jumped unreal today. He travelled everywhere, we didn’t go a mad gallop and that allowed me to be up with the pace, which suited. Hopefully there might be another day in him now. This is always what I wanted to do, so I’ll keep the head down now. I ride mostly in point-to-points, work for Colin Bowe and school for various other trainers. I had my second point-to-point winner just last Sunday so it has been a good few days. Tom McParland is a legend of racing around here so to train a winner for him in Punchestown is brilliant. Hopefully Tuckmill will stay tipping away and Ronan will have a bit of fun on him until the ground gets too soft.

Punchestown Tue, 13th Oct, 2026  Live To Laugh I suppose he was well-in considering his higher chase mark and he had a lovely run over a trip that was short enough for him in Listowel. We were a little bit worried about the ground being quick for him but in fairness they did a great job watering. I think he’ll improve away on winter ground, up through the ranks in handicaps over both hurdles and fences. They are a great bunch of people that own him, there's a brother-in-law of mine, Anthony Callan, who's not too well at the moment so hopefully that'll give his family a bit of a lift.

Roscommon Mon, 12th Oct, 2026  Inver Bay We were hopeful coming here, she won her little handicap hurdle here and she handles the ground. She loves Roscommon obviously and she did it nicely. I’d say she had a little turn of foot over the others. She won it well and I’m delighted for the owners, they are good friends of mine. Alannah and the lads in the yard have done a mighty job with her.

Roscommon Mon, 28th Sep, 2026  Inver Bay running in her first handicap, I wasn’t expecting her to be good enough to win today but they went so hard in front, I think they cut each other's throats and it fell into her hands. I’m absolutely delighted as I thought the handicapper was a bit hard on her. I don’t know how true the race was run, it might have just fallen into her hands, but I’m delighted. I have good owners and I’m absolutely delighted that the horses are in good order. Rachael, Alanna and everyone are doing a great job at home.
