Killarney Wed, 15th Jul, 2026  Arch Enemy Unbelievable. It’s some team effort and I don’t think in the past few days I’ve been giving them enough credit,. I’ve been down here, I was down with two horses last night, I’m not even at home. Emily Fleming and all the girls in the yard, it’s a massive team effort. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind!. She was bouncing around the ring. Tacking her up we were saying ‘this is on’. You know when she’s quiet you are in trouble. It was a super ride; it’s been kind of mad stuff. It’s brilliant. Sam is a very talented kind so there were no instructions. I did just say to him to be careful as she can switch off. He said to me just there that he thought he was in trouble but she can do that and then she keeps going again.

Navan Sat, 11th Jul, 2026  Arch Enemy It is amazing! I have to thank all the staff - Emily is with me full-time, a young girl Amy from Kingscourt, and Corey McGivern is home from Australia and is in helping me out. He's a massive help. I have to thank my family, my parents and my wife. I also want to mention Fergal Harford. We work with each other, and he does most of the pre-training. I told him to take Arch Enemy, and he had her for a couple of months just to give her a change of scenery because she is getting a bit older and that. He sent her back to me and just told me, 'run her'. It made sense - there was no point letting her back into the system and maybe getting sick of it again. Fergal is a massive part of the team and I’m on the phone to him every day. Her work was okay but then she was working with that horse (Admiral Will Brown) and he was impressive. She is in at Killarney on Wednesday and she will go as she is going to get a slap for that. We’d like to get her up a few pounds to make sure we get into Galway.

Navan Sat, 11th Jul, 2026  Admiral Will Brown Barry (Judge) bred him and had him and always liked him. I actually broke him as a young horse. I only have him about three weeks or a month. His work has been good. He got a good ride, and everything came together.

Bellewstown Thu, 2nd Jul, 2026  Rosie Frith We have been knocking on the door, struggling to get a winner, so it is great to kind of kick off the season. She went to Cork and it was very heavy ground and didn't handle it, went to Epsom and got soft ground as well. Probably improving a little bit with every run and I thought she stripped a bit fitter today. The ground is not fast out there, but it is not holding. It is great to have her back and we will probably be going for a premier handicap, and maybe trying to get a bit of black-type then. There was chat about maybe even going to Dundalk next week, but we might skip that. There is one in Cork - she loves Cork, she has won there and was second there. I imagine we will head on to Cork. She does seem to relax (off the front), it is more that when she gets her own way she can get into top speed. She can rush a little bit if she is taken on. She is very fast.
