Formscan By Stuart Howden - The Tom Hogan-trained HOPEFUL HERO (6) was a deserved winner of a Bellewstown maiden hurdle, and the vote is given to this improving five-year-old to progress even further. Jockey Alan O'Sullivan will take a useful 5lb off the son of Raven's Pass, and he gets the vote in a tight contest. Aidan Melia's Timurshah looks to be in a winning habit and, although being raised 16lb since his first win, the 7lb claim of jockey Conor Smithers will be a help, and he will be competitive. Barry Connell's Mart Lane ran a great race to finish fourth in a competitive handicap hurdle at the Easter Festival at Fairyhouse, and he is given an each-way chance.
