The Saxon Warrior gelding won a competitive handicap hurdle at Punchestown before a solid run on the Flat at Gowran Park last time. He is second top-rated here off his mark of 126. Cossack Chach is rated a pound superior but comes here having pulled up at Punchestown earlier in the month. He has a bit to prove after that poor showing. Pinot Gris, an easy winner at Bellewstown last time, could prove a bigger danger despite having a few pounds to find on official ratings.
