Permission was given for Alseyoob (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The winner, Alseyoob (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newmarket on 6 August 2022 where the filly finished seventh of nine, beaten by 12 lengths.
Ismail Mohammed’s explanation that the filly benefited from the easier surface on this occasion of Good, compared to Good to Firm at Newmarket, was noted.
Alseyoob (IRE) was routine tested.
The performance of Dowally (IRE), which started second favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
Charlie & Mark Johnston’s representative’s explanation that the filly was unsuited by the going, which was officially described as Good, and would prefer a firmer surface, was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Dowally (IRE) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, David Probert reported that Barrier (FR), placed fourth, reared as the stalls opened.
