A course debut-bumper-winner in 2024, the selection is lightly-raced but nonetheless retains smart ability and a reproduction of his Leopardstown win would see him involved again. Group 3-placed Samui was a wide-margin winner here in 2024 and while a smart performer on fast ground, hasn’t raced for 405 days, so might improve for this run. Ragman’s Corner finished fourth in the Galway Hurdle but has a bit to find on Flat ratings. Fragile Glowing Account has had numerous training issues, both before and after his impressive Listowel bumper-success back in 2023, and should improve from his Galway reappearance.

He has just kept improving all year and I don't know why. He's a lovely little horse and some attitude, so he has. . We will probably go to Naas now for the two-mile handicap, I used to call it the November Handicap, I think it is in October now. We had planned to go there and he is entered in it anyway. If he gets in, he will probably take his chance. . He has been an unbelievable horse for us all. . He has a serious pedigree, but as an individual he wasn't much to look at. I remember when he came to the yard one day, the fella took him out of the box and one of the lads said 'what is he by?' He says 'by Kalanisi' and the lad said to put him back in the box and take him with him! I remember the next morning, when I saw him, I was inclined toagree with him as well! . It is what is under the bonnet that counts. It is just unbelievable. . He was third in the big one at Galway(GPT) and then second on the Sunday and he didn't run his race on Sunday because he never travelled. I thought he was going to be tailed off and the next thing he finished second. Whatever it was, the ground being dead, but he just never travelled. . Eoghan rode as an amateur for us and he won on him as an amateur in Punchestown. I thought with the size of him (Ragmans Corner) the 7lb off would help. Looking at it there, we probably didn't need it!

I was worried about the ground, which is yielding, but he went through it better than most. I was actually very nervous about my four runners due to the rain which came. Whatever happened he choked with Jack (Kennedy, jockey) the last day at Ballinrobe but it worked out today. . I don't think he is a winter horse but is definitely a type to head to Cheltenham in November. We might then put him away as he could also run on the flat next year.

Shane Nolan, who used to train, organised the switch to our yard because Michael Mulligan (part-owner) would be local to us in Kilcock. I'm not saying I've improved him, because Mark Fahey is a great trainer, but maybe the change of scenery was a help. We said we'd try something different, so put the tongue-tie on, and maybe the better ground suited him as well. . He's lightly raced, so hopefully he'll get a bit of confidence from this and can progress a bit more.
