Formscan By Alan Magee - JASKO DES DAMES won twice over fences earlier this season including a similar trip at Punchestown and ran a cracker last time when fifth behind Jazzy Matty in the Grand Annual at Cheltenham with Conyers Hill four lengths back in sixth. Path D’oroux never really got involved over 2m4f at Cheltenham last month but is generally a very consistent sort and holds strong claims on his previous second to stablemate The King Of Prs at this venue. Jesse Evans is a smart handicap hurdler who has already registered a win and a Grade 3 place from just three starts over fences, while Spinning Web and Hillsdale are others for the shortlist.

An extended handicap steeplechase for five years old and upwards that have not won a steeplechase before 5th May 2024, other than one hunters steeplechase within the previous two National Hunt seasons and that at entry have run at least three times in steeplechases
