THE JOIN THE MIDNITE MOVEMENT HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) Permission was given for Early Release (GB) to go early to post, for Nacho Nacho Nacho (IRE) to wear a red hood to post, and for Woodhay Whisper (IRE) to go early to post and be mounted in the chute.
Leaving the stalls, Punchbowl Flyer (IRE), unplaced, jumped right-handed, crowding Sonic Si (GB), unplaced, for room at the same time as Nacho Nacho Nacho (IRE), unplaced, jumped left-handed, slightly crowding Woodhay Whisper (IRE), placed third, and as a result Cooramook (IRE), unplaced, which was in the middle of these runners, was hampered and lost its early position, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Paddy Bradley reported that Cooramook (IRE), unplaced, suffered interference when leaving the stalls and was outpaced thereafter.
