Permission was given for both Kessaar Power (IRE) and Daany (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately 2 furlongs out involving Whiteley Way (GB), placed second, ridden by Ashley Lewis, and Blue Collar Lad (GB), unplaced, ridden by Jason Watson.
Lewis was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he moved his horse left-handed when going for a run into an insufficient gap making contact with Blue Collar Lad (GB) and moving that gelding off its intended line.
The winner, Lovely Jubly (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Lingfield on 30 August 2025 where the filly finished tenth of fourteen runners, beaten by 5¾ lengths.
Michael Attwater’s explanation that the filly benefited from today’s Heavy ground on this occasion was noted.
