Permission was given for Spirit Of Breeze (IRE) to go early to post, wearing a red hood.
SPIRIT OF THE BREEZE (IRE) made contact with the plastic rail leaving the parade ring.
Having been checked at the start by the Veterinary Surgeon, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
Approaching 2 furlongs out, Rating (IRE), placed third, had to take a slight check off the heels of Moonlight Bomb (GB), unplaced, which was in the process of going back through the field, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong, involving Louie The Legend (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Ray Dawson and Dappled Light (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Finley Marsh.
Dawson was cautioned for careless riding, as he eased his mount off the rail when insufficiently clear taking Marsh off his intended line.
