Permission was given for Hara Kiri (FR) to wear a red hood to the start.
After an initial false start, the start was effected successfully on the second attempt.
However, having reviewed recordings of the false start, the Starters were satisfied that no riders should be reported for contravening the starting procedures.
Having reviewed the start, the Stewards were satisfied that Hosaamm (GB) had refused to race after the start was effected and was therefore deemed a runner.
The Stewards considered the unruly behaviour of Hosaamm (GB) which refused to race.
The Starters and the representative of Adrian Keatley were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the gelding had also been unruly, refusing to race at Musselburgh on 1 February 2025, Keatley was informed that any future similar behaviour from Hosaamm (GB) may result in the gelding being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
