Permission was given for Danzart (IRE) to go early to post.
Inside the final half furlong, Asadjumeirah (GB), which dead heated for fourth, moved into a legitimate gap on the rail at the same time as Carolus Magnus (IRE), unplaced, shifted slightly right-handed causing that runner to become unbalanced and to lug left-handed which resulted in Lady Bouquet (GB), unplaced, becoming short of room.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved, and it had not improved the placing of Asadjumeirah (GB).
Following the race, Amie Waugh reported that Invincible Annice (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong; Paul Mulrennan reported that Danzart (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong and Cam Hardie reported that Asadjumeirah (GB), which dead heated for fourth, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
