He was very unlucky the last day but horse and rider were okay and that was the number one thing. The lads (Michael Bowe and brother John) had spotted this race. It was only nine days later but we said he was fresh and well so we’d take the chance and he did what he had to do today. He’s a good horse and he’ll be entered in all the good races now. That breed improves with age, the lads have been saying that from the start. We’re very happy with him and very happy to have him. Nearly every day he goes racing he gets best turned out, he’s that good-looking a horse. He’ll probably get an entry in the Hatton’s Grace and go from there. That’s what the lads are thinking.
