Permission was given for Miraculous (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The sponsorship in relation to Spring Is Sprung (FR), trained by Paul Midgley did not comply with the Sponsorship Code of Conduct.
Midgley was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that the correct sponsorship is carried.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 4 furlongs out, involving Spring Is Sprung (FR), unplaced, ridden by David Nolan and ZIGGY’S MISSILE (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by P.
J.
McDonald.
Nolan was suspended for 2 days for careless riding, as he failed to take sufficient measures from preventing his mount moving right-handed, causing McDonald to take a check.
The winner, Accrual (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Haydock on 10 August 2025, where the gelding finished eighth of thirteen runners, beaten by 10¾ lengths.
Daniel Kubler’s explanation that Accrual (GB) benefited from being better drawn on this occasion, having been badly drawn on its previous start, in his opinion, was noted.
Accrual (GB) was routine tested.
