Permission was given for Diamondsinthesand (IRE) to go early, wear a red hood to post and be mounted in the chute.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one and a half furlongs out involving, Call Time (IRE), placed second, ridden by Taylor Fisher and Red Walls (GB), placed third, ridden by Pat Cosgrave.
Fisher was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to continue to drift left-handed without correction, causing Red Walls (GB) to be taken slightly off its intended line.
The winner Diamondsinthesand (IRE) appeared to show an improvement in form, compared with its previous run at Wolverhampton on 23 June 2025, where the gelding finished fifth of nine, beaten 7 ½ lengths.
Adrian Wintle’s explanation that DIAMONSINTHESAND (IRE) was suited by returning to Ffos Las where the gelding was won previously, was noted.
Following the race, Taylor Fisher reported that Call Time (IRE), placed second, hung badly left-handed; Callum Hutchinson reported that Profit Rockit (IRE), unplaced, was never travelling and Hector Crouch reported that Neptune Legend (IRE), unplaced, jumped awkwardly from the stalls.
