Tattycoram (GB) wore earplugs which were removed at the start.
An enquiry was held to consider two pieces of interference approximately 3 furlongs from the line, involving Go Go Boots (GB), placed third, ridden by Kieran Shoemark and Miss Tonnerre (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Tom Marquand.
Shoemark was suspended for 4 days for improper riding in that he had angled right-handed for a run when narrowly behind Marquand, when it should have been obvious that interference would occur to Marquand, bumping Miss Tonnerre (IRE) and moving the filly off her intended line.
Shortly after the initial bump a second bump occurred between Miss Tonnerre (IRE) and Go Go Boots (GB) which the Stewards found to be accidental as Go Go Boots (GB) had become unbalanced at the same time as Miss Tonnerre (IRE) lugged left-handed.
The performance of Smoken (GB), which started favourite and finished sixth of six runners, was considered.
The Veterinary Officer reported that the filly scoped dirty post-race.
