The Raceday Stewards reviewed the riders first approach to the starter which resulted in a false start. Having considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted
E. Staples, rider of Empire Soldier, trained by Denis Paul Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a bad mistake early, got detached and was pulled up thereafter
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Shannon Royale trained by Ian Patrick Donoghue was found to have burst a blood vessel post race.
A steeplechase for five years old and upwards over a special Bank/Chase Course that at entry have run at least three times in steeplechases (including Point-To-Point steeplechases)
