Permission was given for Rajinoora (IRE) to wear red hood to the start.
The Starter reported that Caph Star (GB) refused to enter the stalls and was withdrawn at 7:04pm.
Gordon Treacy was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
The winner, Port Road (USA) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Lingfield on 8 December 2025 where the gelding finished ninth of ten runners beaten by 7 ¼ lengths.
The explanation given by Simon Dow that Port Road (USA) benefited from having a better draw on this occasion and also that the gelding may have appreciated the return to Kempton, was noted.
