Permission was given for Love Alive (GB) to go early to post; for Hilitany (GB) and Starakova (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 2 furlongs out involving Gaga Mate (IRE), placed third, ridden by Callum Shepherd, Acceptance (FR), unplaced, ridden by Kieran Shoemark, Love Alive (GB), unplaced, ridden by Sean Levey and Starakova (GB), unplaced, ridden by Edward Greatrex.
The interference was found to be accidental as Gaga Mate (IRE) and Acceptance (FR) were presented by their riders for the same gap concurrently, which resulted in Acceptance (FR), who was racing ungenerously, shifting back right-handed and into the path of Starakova (GB), which was badly hampered as a result, in turn interfering with the green running Love Alive (GB).
Following the race, George Downing reported that Taaklam (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away; Kieran Shoemark reported that Acceptance (FR), unplaced, was shortened for room approaching 2 furlongs out; Edward Greatrex reported that Starakova (GB), unplaced, was badly hampered approaching 2 furlongs out, resulting in him easing the filly through to the line; Sean Levey reported that Love Alive (GB), unplaced, was shortened for room approaching 2 furlongs out.
