We were nearly not running her on the ground (officially good, good to firm in places) because she is better with cut. We declared and the race fell apart, and it was more enticing to run all the time. We told Keithen to look after her and to be fair he didn’t have to worry too much. She’s a massive improver. We were probably running her over the wrong trip, and we dropped back. She’s a proper sprinter to look at now. She’s after developing physically and she might be one for some nice sprints at the backend of the season. The Joe McGrath could be an option, and we’d love to get her some black type as well.

The boys bought her online and she had a couple of mediocre runs for me - it was quick ground. She loves a bit of room and a bit of space. Last week in Bellewstown, I wasn't going to run her with the ground. Then I looked, and she is a Profitable, and they have to go on it. She was a little bit unlucky, she just bumped into one of Joseph's. Today, I was a bit (worried) whether she would get the mile or not. I said to Adam if he could make it, make it. If not, just take a lead. Got a lovely lead and he said he was always going to get her in the end. She's very game and she stayed at it well for him. She wasn't an overly dear filly, she has been a great bit of fun. She is after winning twice for us and been second. It was a good race and nice to get that for her.

That was very good and she improved with every run. Over five (furlongs) she is very quick and we were hoping today's easy five would suit and it did. she's a good, genuine filly who is too hard on herself on occasions and can work herself up, but is very honest. She's not great to break and the last day up the Curragh there was about 23 runners and she broke last but was only beaten two lengths. She didn't break too badly today and I'd say small fields probably suit her as well. She picked the right day to win as it was a good pot (€14,400 first prize) and we’ll definitely keep her going over the summer. She has won well there, so I'd imagine she will get a nice few pounds for that, so she might be a bit hard to place. The way she won there, we could chance getting black-type with her: that might be aiming a little high, but we might give it a go.

She was fit from her all-weather runs and we didn’t do a whole pile with her,. We weren’t sure about the very deep ground but Billy said she travelled everywhere. When he needed her there was a bit of fight in her as well and she went to the line well. David Kelly is always watching for an opportunity and he saw this filly in an online sale. He bought her and fair play to him as he picked her out. She’s been straightforward since she came. We’ll find something similar in the next few weeks, those three-year-old only races are good when you find them. She obviously copes with the soft ground and she did everything right there. We’ll just keep her happy, she doesn’t seem to need much work. I don’t think she liked Dundalk. On the best of her turf form, off 72, she was hopefully going to be competitive and she has been,. She didn’t win by much, there were three of them there in a good tussle, so hopefully the handicapper gives her a chance going forward. It’s important, if you can, to get a winner early on. It gives you a bit of a line on some of the others.
