Dundalk has proved a happy hunting ground for Shane Donohoe this winter with impressive victories for Sparklingsovereign and Charlie Bear, and the latter attempts to strike again in the Elusive Pimpernel Race on Friday.

The gelded son of Myboycharlie has progressed well in three outings to date. He quickened clear inside the final furlong to land a competitive maiden here last month and the form of that seven-furlong event has been working out well since.

The Co. Cavan trainer has made no secret that the Greatest Thing Syndicate would be keen to sell if getting the right offer, and victory here would put an extra few euros on the asking price.

Five Claw made all to score over six furlongs here last time, and Michael Halford's charge looks sure to provide the chief threat.

Donohoe has four runners in total on the seven-race card and he saddles two in the Floodlit Friday Nights Handicap with Etaad and Eretara.

Etaad won recently at Wolverhampton but an outside draw in 14 will not help his chance this time, while Eretara has also been done no favours in stall 12.

Dangers abound in this mile event, with top-weight Twistsandturns and Gold Tantrum, who is at the opposite end of the handicap, likely to play a prominent role.

Have A Great Day really caught the eye when scoring by six lengths in a maiden here last week and a mark of 78 may not prevent Andy Oliver's charge following up over six furlongs in the Hen & Stag Packages At Dundalk Stadium Handicap.

Rest Assured should make a bold bid under top weight in the Dundalk Stadium - Light Up Your Night Handicap, while Tennesse Waltz, who went into the notebook as a likely future winner when third on debut here last month, makes appeal in the concluding Dundalk Stadium On Facebook Maiden for rookie Curragh trainer Maria Richert.
