There's some good racing at Naas on Sunday afternoon including the Tally-Ho Stud Irish EBF Ballyogan Stakes, a Fillies' & Mares' Group 3 contest offering €60,000 to the winner.

They race over six-furlongs. Two UK-based runners have won since 2016 — Divine for Mick Channon and Perfect News for William Haggas. Channon's son Jack is represented now, while Haggas also has a runner.

Here's our look at the 12-strong field for the Ballyogan Stakes at Naas on Sunday (15:25).

Bellaphina (John Kinsella)

James Garfield mare is a four-time winner on the grass including the GAIN Summer Fillies Handicap at the Curragh in June. Far from disgraced in Group 3/Listed races since but back in a handicap from a 14lb higher mark.

Dance Night Andday (Ross O'Sullivan)

A neck behind the re-opposing Bellaphina at the Curragh in June, she has run two crackers since at Leopardstown and Cork in Group 3/Listed company and is a stone better off on these terms.

Gutsy Girl (Joseph O'Brien)

Just the one win in 11 career starts on turf, a Carlisle maiden over 6f for Charlie Fellowes in August 2023. She hit the crossbar in a Listed race at Cork over 7f recently.

Miss Attitude (Jack Channon)

Smart mare has two wins in a busy campaign already, most recently landing a Listed 5f contest at Deauville this month. Likely to be in the mix again.

Navassa Island (Michael O'Callaghan)

Useful performer but strike-rate leaves something to be desired (1-15). Has come up short in similar races of late and may again be found wanting by a few of these rivals.

Queen Of Thunder (Ken Condon)

Killarney maiden winner over a mile in May and not disgraced at 33/1 in the Group 2 Minstrel Stakes five weeks ago. Untested over a trip as short as this.

Vespertilio (Willie McCreery)

Winner in Listed company at the Curragh over this trip on penultimate start and contested a hot Group 3 back there since. Not completely exposed at this trip.

California Dreamer (Adrian Murray)

Turf maiden after 11 runs but she has run with real credit in Group 1 company over a mile this season when second in the Irish 1000 Guineas. Drops back in trip now and could have a big run in her.

Carla Ridge (Eddie & Patrick Harty)

Daughter of New Bay won her maiden over course and distance last year at 100/1. She has been a mixed bag this season but close second in Listed company over track and trip last time.

Lady With The Lamp (Joseph O'Brien)

Bagged Listed races at Cork and Chelmsford in the spring and touted as an outsider of note in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot but was well held there and two backwards steps since. Needs a revival.

Sky Majesty (William Haggas)

Top UK trainer has won this race before. This Blue Point filly was a smart two-year-old last season and is 4-5 on turf, her only setback in the Commonwealth Cup when things didn't pan out for her. Listed winner over C&D since and key player for the Haggas and Tom Marquand team.

Zuheila (Johnny Murtagh)

Debut winner at Navan over this trip for Johnny Murtagh and ran a sound race here over C&D earlier this month on second start. Has to make a leap forward in this company.
