The going looks sure to be testing this weekend as Leopardstown and Navan host the National Hunt action.

The ground at Leopardstown is currently described as soft (soft to heavy in places) on both the hurdle and chase courses.

Some horses will work after racing, plus the track will facilitate trainers next Monday and Tuesday, but there will not be the same emphasis on pre-Cheltenham workouts as previous years and no commentary will be provided.

Racing takes place at Navan on Sunday and the ground is currently soft to heavy.

The weather forecast is for further rain tonight, with showers on Saturday and Sunday.
