Going updates The going at Thurles remains largely unchanged ahead of this afternoon's meeting, where the first on a seven-race card gets underway at 2.05pm. The ground is currently described as soft (yielding in places) on the hurdle course, and yielding to soft on the chase course. Meanwhile the going is still yielding to soft at Navan where a strong card on Sunday features three Grade 2 events including the Ladbrokes Ireland Boyne Hurdle. There will be fresh ground available on both tracks. The weather forecast is generally dry today with rain overnight clearing to showers tomorrow, some of which may be heavy.
