Joseph O'Brien and Dylan Browne McMonagle recorded trebles on the afternoon as Out For A Stroll stayed on best close home to win the concluding D & E Behan Handicap at Limerick.

Having scored twice earlier on the card, the trainer and jockey were strongly supported to make it a three-timer with the J.P. McManus owned filly backed into 6/5f at the off.

Held up towards rear, the four-year-old looked to be in trouble over three-furlongs out as McMonagle got lower in the saddle. Ronan Whelan was travelling noticeably well on Slieve Bearnagh edging to the front early in the straight.

McMonagle came wide into the straight, going third over a furlong out as Slieve Bearnagh and Dynamite Defense fought it out.

Gradually getting to the leader with every stride, Out For A Stroll led inside the last 50 yards to win by half-a-length.

Dylan Browne McMonagle said: "She is lazy but keeps finding plenty for pressure. It is testing conditions and I just had to make her mind up for her coming into the straight.

"We went plenty quick for the first half so I was confident they would come back to me. I followed Ronnie (Whelan, on Slieve Barnagh) into it and he gave me a good target to aim at.

"When she got there she didn't do a whole in front but it is good to get her head in front on the Flat and hopefully can keep improving."
