Bubbly in 'great form' ahead of Curragh test Adrian McGuinness is hoping Bubbly Bellini can continue his excellent run of form this season as he lines-up in the valuable evoke.ie Sprint Handicap at the Curragh on Saturday. The eight-year-old son of Mull Of Kintyre has already won four races this term and the majority of his sixteen career successes have come with an ease in the ground. With conditions set to be in his favour McGuinness is expecting a big run from his stable star. "The draw (two) has not been kind to us but the ground will suit, the slower the ground the better. The more rain we get the better. "I'm expecting a big run from him. He is in great form, he worked the other day and my head lad was very happy with him. Declan (McDonogh) gets on great with him and he is the form of his life this year. "He was drawn in three in the Rockingham and he basically had no chance with the English sprinters over five as they are so fast. "If you look back at the result the first three home came from stalls 24, 23 and 22. The English sprint handicappers are that bit more superior, we have been saying that all along but they don't like taking us on on slower ground. "His form this year is on all sorts of ground but I do think over six and a half the slower the ground the better. They won't get away from him early on, and if they don't get away from him hopefully he will catch them." In Salutem has also been a model of consistency this season and his trainer Ken Condon feels his charge has solid each-way claims. "He has been very constant in the main this year. I thought he ran a very solid race in the Rockingham, he finished out well and we kept him in mind for this race for a while now. "I think the six furlongs and sixty yards is going to suit him better than the five. "The rain that came yesterday will help and there is a bit more due during racing as well. He does like an ease in the ground, he doesn't want it too soft but the slow side of good or yielding would be fine, yielding to soft would even suit. "He is in very good form and he is down to mark of 84 now. I'd give him a good each-way chance. "He has to overcome stall three and the place to be is the high number draws. That's a negative but he is well and is handicapped to run a good race." Top-weight Intibaah is one of three UK raiders in the line-up and he will be ridden by Joseph O'Brien. The George Baker-trained gelding was second on his last start at Haydock and he is fitted with blinkers for the first time now. Handicap debutant Alkasser is an interesting contender for Dermot Weld while Fit For The Job, Bainne, Balmont Mast and Dark Alliance are other leading contenders.
