Johnny Murtagh 's Celtic Moon (2/1 joint-favourite) reversed Leopardstown placings with Cashel Queen to win Bellewstown's Irish EBF Median Sires Series Fillies Maiden over a mile.

A daughter of Joseph O'Brien's 2020 National Stakes winner Thunder Moon, the David Kelly-owned winner headed O'Brien's newcomer, and fellow joint-favourite, Party in Vegas inside the final furlong and scored by a length and a-quarter from the staying-on Cashel Queen.

The latter had been a neck to the good when the pair were third and fourth on their respective debuts last month.

"She had a lovely run on ground that would probably be a bit slow for her. She took a step forward with that run under her belt," reported jockey Ben Coen

"She picked up and hit the line good. Probably just the run showed in the last half-furlong - Joseph's filly (O'Brien, Party In Vegas was first time out. It pays to have a run under your belt coming here, and I got a nice run through and she battled good.

"She's a lovely-moving filly and the ground was probably on the slower side for her the last day, but she still ran well. She came out of that race really well."

Murtagh and Coen had combined for a double at Fairyhouse yesterday.
