The ground has eased slightly ahead of this afternoon's meeting at Fairyhouse, and is currently described as soft to heavy, heavy in places.

There was 2mm of rain overnight at the Co. Meath venue but no frost and the forecast is dry for today.

Gowran host their big day tomorrow with the €100,000 Goffs Thyestes Handicap Chase.

The going at the Co. Kilkenny track is heavy on the chase course, and soft to heavy on the hurdle course.
