‘Primed to deliver here’ - Sunday’s Lucky 15 DRF tips Sunday is dominated by day two of the Dublin Racing Festival, where four Grade Ones take place. The big clash of the day is a rematch between Lossiemouth and Brighterdaysahead. Lossiemouth came out on top last time, but there wasn’t much to separate them and with all the rainfall in the last few days, this will be a different test for them both. We’ve picked out a lucky 15 for the day’s racing. 14:10 Leopardstown - Solness @ SP Eight-year-old SOLNESS arrives here with an outstanding record at Leopardstown, unbeaten over fences at the track with a perfect three-from-three, and this looks very much like his big day. While some rivals may have one eye on Cheltenham targets down the line, he is clearly primed to deliver here. He showed his trademark consistency once again when narrowly landing another Grade 1 at Christmas, digging deep to fend off a strong challenge from Marine Nationale, who runs here again, and that performance underlined just how reliable he has become at this level. Leopardstown clearly brings out the best in him, and his proven course form means we can rely on him to come out on top again. 14:45 Leopardstown - Ballybawn Belter @ SP The JP McManus-owned BALLYBAWN BELTER absolutely bolted up at Limerick over the Christmas period and a 7lb rise for that success looks on the lenient side. The daughter of Valirann seemed to relish the testing ground that day and given that we know she stays further, there could be even more to come over this sort of distance. With the underrated Simon Torrens retaining the ride, there’s plenty to like about her chance at a double figure price. 15:20 Leopardstown - Brighterdaysahead @ SP When Lossiemouth and Brigherdaysahead last met, it was the former that did the business. She had race-fitness on her side that day, and the contest took place on quick ground. Both arrive here with a run under their belt this time, but the ground now looks set to be the complete opposite of when they last met. With that in mind, it’s very possible we could see a reversal in form. BRIGHTERDAYSAHEAD was off the bridle fairly early on that occasion but stayed on strongly to chase home Lossiemouth, finishing just a length behind. Lossiemouth may not be able to quicken away on heavy ground as she did last time, and could struggle to fend off a now fully race-fit Brighterdaysahead. 16:27 Leopardstown - Celestial Tune @ SP The final race of the meeting is the Grade 2 Mares’ Bumper. CELESTIAL TUNE has made a hugely impressive start to her career in bumpers and comes here as a dual winner with plenty of untapped potential. She followed up her Listowel success by landing a Listed mares’ bumper at Cheltenham last time, showing a strong turn of foot to assert late on testing ground. That victory confirmed her upward trajectory, and she looked a filly very much on the up as she brushed aside a competitive field in good fashion. Still relatively inexperienced, she has taken a big step forward with each run, and there’s every reason to think further improvement is to come. With proven form in strong company, she’s the standout for this. 'Exclusive offer for irishracing.com customers - Bet 10 Get 80'
