Lossiemouth is a shade of odds-on for the featured €200,000 Timeless Sash Windows Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown this afternoon with big rival Brighterdaysahead easing in the market.

The Willie Mullins-trained grey is generally a 10/11 shot for the two-mile highlight, while Brighterdaysahead has drifted out to 5/2 from 15/8. Marine Nationale is another well-backed favourite this morning with Barry Connell’s gelding now 13/8 favourite (from 2/1) for the Grade 1 Ladbrokes Dublin Chase.

The eight-race card kicks off with the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Paddy And Maureen Mullins Mares Handicap Hurdle at 12.40, and Cousin Kate (6/1- 4/1fav) and Shoda (7/1-5/1) are both proving popular. Ballyfad (4/1-3/1) is threatening favouritism at present for the Grade 1 Tattersalls Ireland Novice Hurdle, while Le Divin Enfant has also been supported into 9/1 (from 16/1). I Started A Joke continues to shorten for the Padel At Leopardstown Golf Launching Spring 2026 Handicap Hurdle with the Charles Byrnes-trained gelding now the 5/2 favourite.

Others shortening in the market in this 20-runner event include Murcia (10/1-7/1) and Hello Neighbour (18/1-11/1).
