The Camelot colt came into this season as the main Derby hope for Ballydoyle but failed to fire first time with his rider reporting that he had given a couple of blows. Aidan O’Brien was far from despondent after that performance and much better will be expected now. He has a bit to find with stablemate Endorsement who ran a cracker then, when going down by half-a-length to another Ballydoyle colt Christmas Day. James J Braddock, who was fifth in the Ballysax, is another to consider.
