Well-held initially, the selection showed big improvement to score at Naas, where he beat the runner-up by nine lengths and the third by 20 lengths. He has similar conditions today with his different rider claiming 4lb. A Nod To Getaway’s last three runs have been at today’s course, including an October success, and while nicely enough held three weeks ago, that race’s winner scored subsequently. Happy Me is a 12-race maiden but has nice bits of form, with the winner of his Christmas maiden hurdle run at Limerick scoring at a higher level subsequently.
